This dream and happening sticks in my mind.
I dreamt I was in a long corridor, with about 3 doors on each side and a door at the far end, total of 7 doors all closed. I am follow someone, a female. I'm taken though one door into a small office, I sit door side of a desk, which takes up most of the room, the other person, sits on the other side with a large window behind her. She starts to ask questions, who is my doctor, what school I went to and how many qualification I got at school. To the last question I answer 7 and she replies " Ohh that's nice."
At the time of the dream I did not recognise the corridor or the office or the person.
About a month later I was at work, the secretary, ask me to help update my file, pre computers followed her to the main office area. Formed of a long corridor with 7 offices off of, normally most of the doors are open making it feel bigger. This day all the doors are shut. At this stage I start to feel deja vue. We go into a small office, previously empty. She starts to ask me questions. Who is my doctor, more deja vue. What school did I go to, I now know what the next question will be. She asks " What school did you go to?" I answer "7" and in perfect sync with her say "Ohh that's nice" this amazed her and I had to explain. The dream had stopped at the last answer.
I have had other dreams, but this one was so clear.

Re: Dream that came true.
Fri, June 8, 2007 - 11:08 PMNearly all of my dreams come true. I knew what my first child would look like before he was born. In fact, I was pregnant with him and in that dream I saw him as if it were a photograph. When he was 2 years old I had a photo that was the same as my dream.
While pregnant with my youngest, I dreamt I was talking. I said that it would be ok if my baby had red hair. My daughter is a redhead. I have had "feelings" about family members who live far away, then find out later they are in trouble. I dream about babies and find out someone in my family is pregnant.
When I was a teenager I "flipped out" and became hysterical, crying that my mother's car crashed. Within the hour I found out it was true. I sometimes know about my life, years before an actual event occurs.
One night I went to bed and decided to "dream" checking up on my mother, who at the time lived about 1,000 miles away. In my dream I entered the front door, walked into the bedroom, and stood at the foot of the bed. Once I saw that she was fine I turned and walked out of the room. Three months later she came to visit. She told me a story about someone who came in through the front door and stood at the end of the bed, turned and left the house. The front door was locked the whole time since they live in southern California and it is unwise to leave your home open.
I had a dream of brain surgery and found out later that my grandmother had been operated on. I dream a lot of sad things that come true as well. I know things that I - just know. Most of the women in my family have this gift. We acknowledge it and have a new generation of women we are now teaching not to fear but embrace this gift. -

Sat, June 9, 2007 - 8:41 PMAwesome guys! I'm the same, my dreams come true all the time
I even had dreams about what a friend of mine was doing/experiencing in her life at the time after loosing contact with her for a bit - all true!
Embrace it definitely, the veil is very thin -

Re: Dream that came true.
Mon, July 16, 2007 - 9:02 PMThat's beautiful, and Gecko is right. Embrace this gift, even when others dub it odd. It is what it is, and fear is what has others telling you that you're freaking out, or odd.
I've dreamt - witnessed, more to the point - what would happen to my father when he lie awaiting a liver transplant. Specifically, I knew he was going to take a day trip to see God while we fretted anxiously, but that he'd eventually come to, and be among us again. I gave him enough detal afterwards for him to believe my experiences.
I've had these prior to the deaths of other loved ones, and in some cases, people I've simply met. More and more, events that aren't linked with death surface, and they seem to become more frequent as I embrace my role as an artist, not simply someone who enjoys writing, as my family has too often encouraged. Limiting my creativity has been stifling, but perhaps fear was the driver, and letting go of this fear is opening my visions, and connecting me with people like yourselves who see and experience visions all of the time. It's a wonderful witness to hold, and the more strongly intuned anyone is to feeling - period - the greater awareness and link to the future for that person. -

Re: Dream that came true.
Mon, July 30, 2007 - 4:56 PMI think creative minds exercise their brains in more ways than one, and that lends itself to opening awareness on other levels too. It has also been my experience that psychics, precogs, etc, are another type of artist who often get overlooked as such. Just my assessment. Or, as a friend said to me once, the heart is the smarter brain, and I'm apt to agree.

Re: Dream that came true.
Sun, April 27, 2008 - 4:18 PMmy family is the same way! Well we all know when someone is pregnant and can tell if it's a boy or girl. We all know when someone is hurt. I woke up once out of breath at about 4:30 in the morning and knew my grandfather was having a heart attack. We called and checked and my grandmother was in hysterics, we called an ambulance and he ended up needing another pace maker after that.
My mom visited my aunt when she had cancer. My aunt called my mom one morning and we were all eating breakfast and my mom told my aunt it was ok, she was tired because she was up all night, but it was ok. When she hung up the phone we asked what that was all about and she said she called to thank her for taking care of her the night before. My aunt evidently had a fever the night before and my mom sent herself to her house and stayed up all night keeping her fever down with a wet cloth and giving her water and stuff. My dad told my mom that she never left the house that night, but my mom said i know i just went to visit. My aunt swore she was there taking care of her even though she was lying in bed all night. I don't know how she did it, but i believe her.
and my mom and i both woke up early in the morning when my brother was being shot at in germany when he was stationed there for 6 months. When he called the next day she asked him was he was doing at 2 in the morning and why he was being shot at. He FREAKED out and was like "how did you know?!?!" it's all strange things, but we are all connected somehow. And it starts when we're young, my niece and my second nephew are even stronger at 7 and 5 years of age than i remember my sister and i being at that age.
And i totally called it last month when i called my mom and told her i had a dream about a little girl playing with my nephews and niece. I had been dreaming about her for a couple of months now and i knew it couldn't be my sister because she has a 4 month old boy now. i told my mom douglas (my brother) is having a baby girl i know it! But he hadn't said anything.. but sure enough, 2 days later my brother told my mom that he and his wife were going to the doctor to check on something for her. And when they got back he told my parents that she was 5 months pregnant and was having a girl. I knew it, they just didn't want to tell my parent's for some reason, i'll figure that out later. lol
